There is one grape variety that tells the story of Sicily better than any other: Catarratto.
Deep roots in tradition, a rare ability to mirror its territory faithfully — and always surprisingly.
From this conviction, our trilogy was born: three wines, a single grape, a story in which every bottle is a different chapter. Because Catarratto is the variety in which Rallo believes deeply, the one we experiment with, invest in, and continue to question.
AV01, natural Catarratto. No added sulphites, no mediation. This is Catarratto in its most authentic form, capable of conveying with absolute honesty the character of Sicilian soil and sun. A wine for those who like to listen before they drink. Raw, vital, imperfectly true — like everything that has no need of masks. In every bottle, nature is not corrected. It is simply accompanied.
Born from the 2025 harvest, Lucido is our newest addition to the family. Fresh, immediate, made to be opened and enjoyed without waiting. In every sip you find the variety’s signature aromas: white blossom, a faintly saline minerality, that citrus tension which is the grape’s own handwriting. A wine of readiness and sincerity, perfect for those who want Catarratto in its most vivid expression, right now.
Only the finest grapes, selected with meticulous care, give life to Beleda — born from a refusal to settle, it carries into the bottle the complexity of those who know how to wait. An elegant, structured wine, made for those with the patience to open it years after buying it, and the curiosity to discover what Catarratto becomes when time works alongside it. Beleda is not an answer. It is a promise.
Three bottles, one territory. The Rallo Catarratto Trilogy is an invitation to explore the facets of an extraordinary grape variety — from the natural frankness of AV01 to the immediate joy of Lucido, through to the patient elegance of Beleda.
A project still unfolding, because Catarratto has not yet finished surprising us.
